Profile

Danny C. Williams, Jr. is a corporate associate practicing out of the Tulsa office of Conner & Winters. As part of the Corporate & Securities practice group, he handles a broad range of matters for public and private companies, including complex transactions, mergers & acquisitions, securities compliance, and corporate governance. He also assists clients in real estate, energy, and banking & finance matters.

Danny has significant experience working in the energy and natural resources industry, and represents energy clients in transactional, regulatory, and operational matters. Prior to joining Conner & Winters, Danny worked as in-house counsel at Canyon Creek Energy. Before beginning his legal career, he handled land transactions and negotiations for ExxonMobil and completed internships for XTO Energy and ConocoPhillips, all while gaining experience working in the Permian Basin, Anadarko Basin, and Bakken Formation of the Williston Basin. He is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and the Tulsa Association of Professional Landmen (TAPL).

Danny earned his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he distinguished himself as a Pugh Kaufman Scholar and was recognized on the Dean's List every semester. He was a member of Loyola's International Law Society and earned a Certificate in International Law while studying in Rome, Italy. Prior to law school, he graduated from The University of Tulsa with a dual degree in Energy Management and Finance. He completed part of his undergraduate studies abroad at the University College Dublin, in Dublin, Ireland. While in undergrad, Danny was a member of the Tulsa Golden Hurricane Division 1 Football Team.
